Information and Software Industry Association
elects new council 2007-2009

Hong Kong, 22 February 2008 – The Information and Software Industry Association (ISIA) today announced the election of a new council for the year 2007-2009. The elections for council members were held during the ISIA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on the 22nd February 2008 at the Hong Kong Productivity Council.

Information and Software Industry Association (ISIA) is pleased to announce that Mr. Aldous Ng has been re-elected as the Chairman of ISIA for 2007-2009. Mr. Ng has been the Chairman of ISIA since 2005.

ISIA would also like to announce the new council members as follows:

"I'm pleased to continue my tenure as the Chairman of ISIA and duly recognize tremendous contributions of the Council and the support from all our members," said Mr. Aldous Ng, Chairman of ISIA.

Mr. Aldous Ng has led ISIA to win the hosting right of the prestigious event, ASOCIO ICT Summit 2008 in Hong Kong. He was also the team leader of several influential projects, such as Hong Kong Software Export Readiness Study Project. Mr. Ng is the long-term member of ISIA and he was also the Vice-Chairman of Strategic Alliance for 2003-2005.
